About Us

Joy of Life is here for you - the person seeking a place to worship God in an encouraging and safe atmosphere. This website is designed to help you find out more about who we are and what we believe so that you can begin to familiarize yourself with the ministry opportunities at Joy of Life.

We appreciate you, care about your needs and are praying for you. We believe that one of the greatest opportunities to see God's heart revealed is when His people take the time to care about what He cares about - and one of His greatest cares is you!

Through praise and worship, we honor God and exhibit His heart for a lost and dying world as He heals our hurts, restores our souls and refreshes our spirits.

Over the past 17 years, the passion to worship in song, declare the truth of God's Word and pray with intention - purposefully and persistently - has grown a community of people who love the Lord here at Joy of Life. We believe that every person who pursues God can know Him personally. It is our hope you will seize the opportunity to partner with God through the body of Christ as we all grow into the fullness of Him who called us to be His children.

We invite you to come and experience the love of God, the touch of His Spirit and the healing ministry of Jesus through the hands and hearts of the community at Joy of Life. Please browse through our ministry pages and become familiar with the "how's" and "why's" of ministry at Joy of Life Remember, we're here for you!

We are Foursquare

FOURSQUARE is a Biblical term used to describe the tabernacle in the Book of Exodus, the Temple of the Lord in Ezekiel 40:47, and to describe heaven in the Book of Revelation.

The Foursquare symbols stand for Jesus Christ as:

THE SAVIOR (Cross)  -  "But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him..."  Isaiah 53:5.  Also see Titus 2:14, Isaiah 55:7, Hebrews 7:25, and Isaiah 1:18.

THE HEALER (Cup)  -  "He Himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses..." Matthew 8:17.  Also see Mark 16:17-18, Matthew 9:5-6, and Acts 4:29-30.

THE BAPTIZER with the Holy Spirit (Dove)  -  "For John truly baptized in water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit...you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."  Acts 1:5, 8.  Also see John 14:16-17, Acts 2:4, Acts 8;17, Acts 10:44-46. and 1 Corinthians 3:16.

THE SOON COMING KING (Crown)  -  "For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout...the dead in Christ will rise first.  Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air.  And thus we shall always be with the Lord."  1 Thessalonians 4:16-17.  Also see Titus 2:12-13, Matthew 24:36-44, Hebrews 9:28, Luke 19:13, and Luke 12:35-37.
